Pros

People at CaptivateIQ are great to work with, you can tell that overall the company wants to do well

Cons

There is next to zero coaching going on for those on the sales team. It’s obvious that favorites get played, and that if you have a bad quarter the CaptivateIQ mantra is next one up instead of coaching those who already know this very technical, hard to use product well. A few years ago, CaptivateIQ was a great place to work. Now? I'd look somewhere else. All of the company culture within CaptivateIQ has disappeared and it's now more an aspect of do your job... or else. I've never worked for a company that has been less loyal to their employees.

Pros

Leadership is nice; Good WLB and schedule flexibility. Mark and Conway are extremely approachable, helpful and really care about helping and being involved. The product is great and lots of success should be expected alot of really hard working people in many teams doing good work and trying to put the customer first.

Cons

alot is expected from various teams with little/no budget or people to do the work. Exec team is inexperienced and not great at making decisions and giving clear direction. Lots of reactive thrash it feels like it's only about pleasing the board but not what is needed or what can be do Big disconnect between execs and those doing the work across teams Need more brand recognition to help sellers win deals and BDRs get meetings set. The company is not big enough to be so disconnected across teams like PS, finance, marketing, sales, CS, product, etc - there is nothing to encourage relationships unless you "need" something from someone.
