Pros

Salary is kind of competitive, most employees on the US side are pretty great, and the product is one of the best.

Cons

Like others have said, if you're a US employee, you're not worthy. The Israelis run the show and they treat the US employees like their children. There's backstabbing, gaslighting, disagreements, harassment, and you'll never be able to please them. No matter what you do and how good it is, it's never good enough for them. And despite being in Israel, they run the American public sector too and have all the intel into our US law enforcement agencies. They insist on running the US division like they're based in Israel, despite the US public sector being a completely different world. You're treated like you're being managed by the Israeli army. There's no work/life balance. Everyone is constantly stressed and having mental breakdowns (which may include trips to the hospital), lots of fighting, tears, and micro-managing. You'll be surprised by random video calls at all hours of the day. You're expected to work weekends and at least 12-hour days, and you must always be available for Israel.

Pros

The pros were that I had decent pay, good benefits, free snacks, and some company paid off site events. The majority of the people I worked with were cool and good people. However, there were some bad ones that I will describe.

Cons

- I worked under someone who was definitely unqualified for their position. (Everyone else was a pleasure to work with.) They created a very toxic work environment with trying to sabotage people by badmouthing them and getting them fired. They gave no guidance, no ideas for improving inefficiencies in the processes, and no structure whatsoever. Literally only one person made my time there extremely unpleasant. - I was thrown to the wolves and had to figure out everything on my own. -We had a lot of meetings that never really led to anything productive. -No effective plans were created for the lower level employees to help grow or develop -People that actually brought value to the company were treated poorly over others who didn't really bring value. (Politics and Nepotism) -I learned how not to run a sales team. -At the time, Microsoft CRM was used and it was very slow and inefficient. They were transitioning to Salesforce before I left.

Pros

1. Sense of camaraderie between teams 2. People within their teams really look out for each other 3. Many of us work remotely

Cons

Cellebrite’s culture is to overload employees with responsibilities and pack on work without any extra pay (this has also been confirmed by many of the Cellebrite veterans I have worked with). You won’t be considered a “team player” or to have “good work ethic” if you aren’t constantly going above and beyond even if it’s at the very last minute on a Friday. Cellebrite loves to profit off of overworked and underpaid employees while giving very little in return. You constantly work 60-70 hours a week? “Great!” says Cellebrite - but you can forget about a fair bonus or salary raise! Not meeting the duties and responsibilities of the job is one thing but when last minute sense of “urgency” around projects and changing SOW becomes the norm and it’s expected that we abandon our families to cater to the company’s continual last minute fires, the job no longer becomes sustainable. Giving our full during normal hours is expected, but that is it. Giving our full does not mean absorbing other employees duties if they quit, being overloaded, or being taken advantage of in anyway. And when you speak up and try to set healthy boundaries for yourself - good luck! - you’re no longer a team player. The CEO sees good work ethic as breaking your back for the company and taking on extra responsibility with zero compensation for it. Last year in 2022 almost half of the marketing department left the company due to the demands (very long weeknights, being expected to work weekends, being forced to meet unrealistic sales goals, etc). There have also been colleagues that had to go to the hospital because the mental stress at work made them very sick.

We're sorry to hear about your negative experience at Cellebrite. Cellebrite is committed to driving a positive and supportive workplace culture for its employees. We take this commitment very seriously, and our leaders actively promote activities and plans to ensure we create the best work environment for all. In the case of our marketing department, we have implemented several initiatives to address the challenges you mentioned. We have developed detailed marketing plans that provide a comprehensive understanding of the work that needs to be done, including individual campaigns, months in advance. This proactive approach allows us to allocate resources better and manage workloads effectively. To support these efforts, we have also invested in significant additional resources to enhance our capacity. Additionally, we have implemented a traffic coordination function that involves weekly standup reviews to ensure better workload and resource management. As a result of these measures, we have already seen improvements in our planning and prioritization processes. While we acknowledge that there is still room for improvement, we are committed to steadily addressing the issues you've raised. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and want to make sure you know that your concerns are being taken seriously. We’d like to invite you to set up a meeting with our CMO and elaborate more.
