Pros

Chrysalis has so many positive attributes! The people I work with are amazing and you are promoted if you work hard, have a good attitude, and are motivated to continue to learn. The behavioral health community is constantly changing and I have been so impressed with the way Chrysalis moves with it to stay ahead of the curve to be able to provide clients with the absolute best services.

Cons

There really are no downsides. Chrysalis keeps growing and innovating, so they are always trying to make things better which means change, but I feel our brains can only keep growing when we are changing!

Pros

Great teamwork, support, environment, co-workers, values, and training. Chrysalis is very supportive in helping you grow as an individual personally and professionally. If you need help with something, reach out to your support network and they will guide you the best that they can. I've only been with the company for less than 2 months and love the organization. They continuously train all staff and provide you with resources to guide you with all of your challenges. This is a great starting point for many individuals to grow in their chosen field and they do offer growth potential within the company. The work/life balance with Chrysalis is great, they promote you to not work off-the-clock, and work very well with adjusting schedules if necessary.

Cons

Unfortunately their IT department could improve, but mostly the reason for this is because the company is bigger than what their current IT department can handle and I know they are in the process of resolving this issue. Their base pay is not the best but they do provide you with additional resources and support that others do not (i.e. training).

Pros

I will say that you can try to do your own schedule occasionally.

Cons

This company only cares about making money and not about the clients or therapists. There are supervisors that don't want to be bothered at anytime. They attend to great training but don't share the new information with the therapists. There are supervisors that have never meet with therapists in person. They aren't even available for weekly supervision. You don't have stability. Your paycheck is 100% on your clients and supervisors hands, if they cancel a session or your supervisor doesn't give you referrals you don't get paid. The time traveling is ridiculous and they pay like 20 cents per mile if you qualified for it. Not everyone get mileage money. You buy your on office supplies. They only give you a dinosaur computer to work with and not really technical support.T hey wait until the last minute to ask or remind therapist for stuff knowing that not face to face not paycheck. Occasionally you will be forced to don't meet with clients to do other things for what you will not be pay for.

Thank you for your feedback Former Employee. I am sorry to read that you did not have a positive experience joining our team. Chrysalis Health prides itself on providing support through supervision and is a requirement for a supervisor to provide and a therapist to receive. I wish you would have reached out to me to report as this is not conducive to the culture and excellence Chrysalis Health strives to achieve. Chrysalis Health does provide all office supplies for employees so I am not sure what you mean by your statement that you buy your own office supplies. I agree that our IT support could be better as that department has not increased to the capacity required to keep up with the demand of our operational growth. This has been identified as a weakness and has been addressed as a priority to improve. We have Think Tank and Therapist support Groups were we regularly receive feedback from clinicians and listen to concerns and suggestions to improve. I encourage you to contact me should you choose to share more at 954-587-1008 Ext. 1014. I hope you found what you needed in your new employer and are happy.
