Thank you for your feedback Former Employee in Fort Lauderdale. We're sorry to read that you had a negative experience with Chrysalis Health and that management had not lived up to your expectations. This was unfortunate as we continuously strive to build a culture and work environment grounded in mutual respect, trust, compassion and collaboration. Pros

The adult counseling program is a great program for the clients. If you can put up with management that treat their employees like garbage.

Cons

Constant disrespect from upper management. Lying and manipulation

Pros

Empathy towards people with dual diagnosis (mentally challenged and addicted) and diligence is sometimes rewarded with success in helping clients. Seminars are helpful in learning about the nature and treatments of mental and addictive problems.

Cons

The inner city area is not really as safe a place to work compaired to the office work available in the city. Working with this population requires safeguards because of the extra risk. Some of the clients are carriers of contagious illnesses such as AIDS, tuberculosis and veneral diseases. Some clients have committed violent acts such as assult and murder and are Department of Correction clients.
