Pros

A lot of trainings and supervision offered, family oriented, child friendly. Willing to hire recent graduates and provide them with the hands on experience that is needed.

Cons

Within a large company there is room for miscommunication and not knowing what other locations are really doing.

Pros

Ongoing Support from Upper Management; Ongoing Training; Independence/ Create Your Own Schedule; Rate of Pay/ options for benefits; Clients Provided; No Fee Supervision of Hours towards licensure; Great Team / Positive Environment; Opportunity for Personal and Professional Growth; Opportunities for Advancement; Great Community Involvement and System of Care Approach.

Cons

If not organized or motivated- Company is probably not for you. Therapists need to be organized, motivated, and be able to work independently. Therapists make their own schedule and not monitored daily by supervisors.

Thank you for your generous review anonymous employee. We greatly appreciate your feedback and are thrilled that your experience has been a positive one thus far. You are absolutely correct in stating that as a clinician with Chrysalis Health, organization and motivation are key elements to success when combined with sound clinical knowledge, similar to having your own thriving private practice without taking on the risk and liability of owning your own business. Please be sure to join us at our next quarterly Think Tank session in May for offering employee suggestions to make Chrysalis Health the best it can be!

Pros

Working with individuals, children and families. You have a flexible schedule and get to choose where you want to travel to. There is a lot of continuing education classes and trainings. The staff is very helpful. Orientation is a week long, there's a lot of information so you get overwhelmed at times. You are pretty much thrown out right away so its hands on experience.

Cons

You're paid only on face to face hours. Clients can be VERY unreliable. You spend a lot of time doing paperwork and other work that you are not paid on. You are traveling 100% of the time and you are not reimbursed for mileage. You do not get a work cell phone nor do you get reimbursed for using your own phone. You are asked to do something randomly and it needs to be done ASAP (without getting paid to do it). A lot of turnover. People tend to quit before the probation period is over.
