Pros

Good benefits, paid time off, some really nice co-workers.

Cons

Everything else. Micromanaging is unbelievable. Bonus program is a joke. Training is good if you have a good trainer, otherwise good luck. Branch managers are never around (for as much micro managing that happens to bankers, it's amazing that branch managers can do whatever they want. This position should be called tele-marketer instead of banker. Spend half the day on the phone harassing current customers. Computer generated leads are a joke.

Pros

For the most part the pay is good and branch has flexibility with scheduling. The bank has many locations so it is convenient. I don't have any more pros to share.

Cons

Not at all focused on employee development or employee satisfaction. It's all about "the dollar." Upper management is so focused on the sale that they do not spend the time to get to know the colleagues. Also turnover is extremely high. Opportunities for growth are limited even with the high turnover as they typically seek outside help to fill these positions.

Customers are great. Co-workers are great.

Cons

Understaffed, wasn't able to do the job I was hired to do due to the lack of staffing.commissions were directly effected by lack of staffing because we received low customer service scores which reduces commission.
