Pros

Great work life balance. 9-5 mostly 35 hourly week. would say this is the highlight. 9 months full pay maternity leave Great if you have no career ambition, want a career break

Cons

Lack of experienced qualified management. No career progression a number of deep seated bad apples in the senior management team with preference to the status quo its a charity so dont expect great remuneration and benefits Lots of contractors which are treated better than permenant staff Company competes in a dying market

Pros

Decent wage and benefits. Competitive bonus structure and option to buy and sell annual leave. Since lockdown, the ability to work from home.

Cons

High pressure environment with little reward, 90% of the management are unsupportive and untrustworthy - anything shared was then passed onto other managers. A culture of sharing your thoughts and feelings but then being penalised if they don't fit the norm. Certain departments were very cliquey and unwelcoming, particularly Digital Solutions. If you want to progress in the company it's very much about whether your face fits and not if you have the skills to perform well which had been demonstrated time and time again. A lot of false promises and decisions made without consulting employees and just expecting you to go with whatever is decided without objection. Following lockdown, the pressures did not improve nor did the level of support received, in fact it got worse. Not the first employee to get fed up and leave then move onto better things and definitely won't be the last. Left due to deteriorating mental health as a result of stress, lack of training for the most recent role I took within the company and was topped off by my deeply inappropriate and incompetent manager who wouldn't listen to me but would often fill my day with barking orders at me and the team with little to no explanation or guidance on how to fulfill said orders. Would seriously avoid this company if you value your sanity. You would be better off claiming benefit than working here. If I had to sum up the last 6-9 months of my employment here I would describe it as an uninspiring, mentally draining ordeal riddled with passive aggressive, unhelpful managers and changes to business and job roles, which can only be described as disorganised chaos.

Pros

Friendly team members, nice offices, opportunities to learn a lot through high pressure situtations

Cons

Full of corporate lingo, they talk the talk, but what do they actually achieve? Cut-throat highly corporate environment where a certain personality type is valued as opposed to hard work and dedication which are not
