Pros

Easy work, (some) good coworkers. Lots of drama and politics, but that can be avoided if you work 3rd shift.

Cons

This is the type of job that you take because you have to and you keep looking elsewhere. The type where if you're still there after a year or so, you start to get stuck. No raises, no promotions, no future. It's a job that saps away all of your motivation if you stay too long. Being laid off from this job is one of the best things that's ever happened to me, because I can do better, and you probably can too.

Pros

Most of the people you work with plus the team leads and the lab people. If you like to work without recognition then this is the place for you. Sometimes a manager will throw down $20 for soft pretzels once a week.

Cons

You will Not Ever get a raise so don't even think about it. I was there seven years with many other employees there longer and No One got a raise. They put you through a review once a year and waste your time to tell you how good you are but you're not superman so they can only give you enough credit to keep you at your current pay then throw out an fake apology. They will not spend a dime on you other than to use you for mandatory overtime because they will not hire enough employees to do the work regular time. You work in a dark warehouse throwing up devices on dirty benches where you might have enough equipment to do the job. As much as you try and get the work done it won't get you anything but self satisfaction. They are always saying things are changing and the money will come but it never does. There are no perks. They went three years promising a work party but it never happened. Health benefits go up every year so you'll take home less in your paycheck. Depressing. No motivation. All the above was my experience in the location listed.
