Pros

Plenty of challenging opportunities to attempt to accomplish unreasonable goal with inadequate investment or support from the leadership.

Cons

Some of the VP and above executives have an elitist mentality. There are constant pushes to cut staff and avoid communicating serious resource constraints to clients, despite the risk it imparts to client's businesses. Leadership does not have long term vision for the company's success, and focuses on cutting costs short term by reductions in force, left shift, and reducing wages and benefits. CompuCom cobbles together bits and pieces of third party solutions and presents these Frankenstein integrations as CompuCom solutions. Many of the solutions the company offers are heavily dependent on swivel seating by third party body shops in India. Mid level management is pressured constantly to find reasons to dismiss the higher paid, highly skilled workers and replace them with low skilled, low paid alternatives. Pay for anyone below Sr. Manager level is dismal, and in the years I was there, from 2011 to 2015 there were no cost of living increases.

Pros

It's a source of income, value equals greater than 0, which is good? They don't care about what you do or where you are during office hours, so long as you get your job done. This was great for my personal development while holding steady income. Vacation time isn't bad; the longer you work, the more you earn.

Cons

No raises, not even for inflation, not even after 10 years, not even if you get promoted. No bonuses. No future. No "standard" pension contribution plan. HR is impossible to contact to correct/modify your pensions and benefits. Took two years to add my wife, unbelievable. Found out I had zero contributed after 10 years' service, after filling out forms for my pension during initial hire - I will take some of the blame here as I should have hounded them more when they kept blaming "system issues", then "system changes" then "system upgrades" when trying to get details on where it is my deductions are going. You will be expected to do the bare minimum, for a company which will try to do less than the bare minimum for you. There is no future here unless you are the type of individual who loves to coast through life. You have to listen to reports of profit increases for the company, while you receive no adjustments to your salary to reflect working for said richer employer. It makes you sick to your stomach to work for someone so greedy.

Pros

Good people, little micromanagement and opportunities to work with a very diverse group of people (the customers). Acceptable training given the amount of different equipment to be worked on. And the benefits are decent.

Cons

Low pay, no raises, no opportunities for advancement. And a lot of excuses as to reasons why.
