Pros

- Awesome co-workers who are all in the same boat but try to make the best of it - Fairly laid back (at least at my branch) - They reimburse your certifications - Fairly laid back work environment, but can at times be stressful

Cons

- HR will siphon all of the contracted money off your paycheck and into their pockets. - Management turnover is very high and many are not qualified to lead or just fell into the roll because of the high attrition rates. - Pay is very poor compared to typical positions in the field nationally - Benefits are not that great at all - Want a raise? be prepared to wait months and even years for that to be pushed through

Pros

Can access a lot of training in-house. They allow flexible hours. They have good reimbursements for mileage when using your own car.

Cons

The wages they pay are very low for their expectations of the work. There seems to be little room for advancement. Managers change too often.

Pros

Once you get a permanent gig, it is really permanent... CompuCom is a solution provider for Intel so you can stay on site as long as you do good work and get along with your group. Intel felt like home. Worked on lots of cutting edge hardware, lots of alpha & beta stuff.

Cons

CompuCom management looks down on their contract employees. This goes beyond the standard dual system of pay and benefits. You can stay as long as you like but though you become better and better at what you do-- hence more valuable to the people you support-- you will NEVER get a pay raise or a bonus unless you are a really good boot licker.
