Was a great company, sad it changed

Pros

Flexibility, location, people. These used to be great pros. But the people are mostly gone from the great days. And the flexibility is not what it used to be. I worked there for many years and had great experiences and opportunities until the last 3. The leadership changes towards the end were devestating to employee morale as well as to the service delivery to clients.

Cons

This is a company that was once a great company and great place to work. Sadly, new leadership has made many negative changes. Decision making, the way it treats its people, and the new approach to business are all very taking the company downhill fast. Make sure you can handle being degraded by the senior leaders before you go to work here. Many now use fear tactics rather than any positive incentives. I still talk to a lot of folks over there, and most are looking for a way out.

Pros

I received a two-week severance package, after I was "released" from the contract they had with a large, hardware retailer (I was a full-time, W-2 employee, of CompuCom), but I received no warning, whatsoever, of my "involuntary departure," which came as a TOTAL surprise to me!

Cons

Not once, in nearly 2 and 1/2 years, did I ever meet my supervisor, in person! Also, most of my fellow technicians, in our area, felt he was totally incompetent, which proved to be the case (he is also no longer with the company, to the best of my knowledge)! Also, I received NO raise or bonus, of any kind, after working for them (on this contract) for more than two years, even though I received numerous accolades, from various managers at the retail stores I serviced!

Pros

Techs and local staff were very professional and knew their game. Client site was very nice. Work at home options were available.

Cons

Senior management was very weak. More concerned about squeezing every dollar from client rather than improve processes.
