Pros

PTO and Holiday schedule is nice, managers and below still actually work toward alleged corporate values

Cons

There probably won’t be a Cotiviti in the US in the next few years. Constant layoffs, on-going hiring and promotion freeze, and jobs being sent to India is the common theme for 2019 Cotiviti. Employees now expect an annual reduction in force, a day each year where dozens of employees are unceremoniously laid off in front of the rest of the company. These employees are not replaced due to the hiring freeze, so the remaining workforce is required to pick up their work, waiting to be laid off next year (or sooner). Senior leadership couldn’t care less about the employees, work morale is deteriorating at lightning speed. Stay away

Pros

The people. that’s about it. flexibility used to be a pro now they are turning more into the typical corporate big corporation type company where they only care about the bottom line.

Cons

only promote white people mostly. usually frat type guys. nepotism is everywhere. same people get promoted every year. you have people here less than 2 years that are managers now just because they are liked and are poster boys. most people are super underpaid and work is always backed up and people are over worked. yearly increases are HORRIBLE and the same people making all the money keep making all the money. also, no bonuses for most people that do the grunt work and managers and SLT team reaps all the rewards.

Thank you for providing your candid feedback. We agree with you that our people are our greatest asset, and we make significant investments on an ongoing basis to continue developing and engaging our talented and diverse workforce. We see diversity as an important strategic advantage, including diversity of viewpoints, backgrounds, levels of experience, and skill sets as well as diversity in ethnicity, gender, education, and more. Although we are always striving to improve, we are proud of our continued progress in hiring and promoting top talent from a variety of backgrounds. Across the company, and in Conshohocken in particular, we have improved our diversity across all ethnic groups, and we have actually promoted more women than men to mid-level and senior level leadership positions in Conshohocken over the past two years. Our employees received an average 3% increase in 2018, which is in line with national averages. Based on our pay-for-performance philosophy, our highest performing employees received the greatest increases. To discuss your specific experience and feedback, and if you are interested in gaining more insights on our diversity and inclusion initiatives, career development opportunities, and compensation philosophy, we encourage you to speak with your manager or Human Resource Business partner. Thank you again for sharing your perspective.

Pros

Challenging work, a chance to learn a lot about ETL and Adhoc reporting across many databases. Some opportunities for remote work, depending on your role. Local Team morale was good, had many talented coworkers and the local supervisors were as helpful as they could be given the work environment.

Cons

Unfortunately the senior leadership seems confused about the direction of the company. After 4.5 years with the company I think we reorganized almost as many times as years I was an employee. Ancient technology stack, a creeping offshoring of jobs, an obvious disconnect between local management and the senior leadership team. Continuous exodus of the talented people make team coherence almost impossible.

Thank you for your comments. We agree that Cotiviti offers many professional challenges that grow one's skills and capabilities. Earlier this year we communicated our strategic priorities for the enterprise, and we are working relentlessly to reach our goals for market penetration. Our recent client conference demonstrated an active market interest in our increasing portfolio of products and services. While the merger integration included in a reorganization that resulted in the loss of some roles across all of our geographies, we have been and continue to hire in the US. and other locations. Our employees are vital to our enterprise. It is unfortunate that you characterize yourself as an asset rather than a member of the team. We hope you find a better sense of belonging in your next role.
