      Pros

      Good benefits, great people, stable company. Lots of people there stay for 10+ years, and many for 35+ years.

      Cons

      Old technologies, slow to change, lots of cutting corners at the expense of quality. Also, as a government contractor, a little bit of politics should be expected.

      Pros

      I'm a retired veteran so I don't have much experience with private sector companies. I do know that the HR staff was really helpful and everything seemed professional and efficient when I was hired on. Benefits are really good and pay is decent for my position. My co-workers have been really great as well.

      Cons

      Government contracts are just that. If the funding or position goes away, you are left high and dry. Because of this, contractors are always on the lookout for more permanent positions so the turnover rate is pretty high.
