Staff bend over backwards and pull off miracles on a daily basis; there is no work-life balance here if you want to be successful. Working nights and weekends are expected and is applauded vs seen as a systemic issue needed to be resolved.
Cubic makes 2-3 acquisitions a year and puts no real resources behind properly integrating them into the firm from a process, culture or technology perspective. This is compounding inefficiencies.
I think leadership understands where the issues lie, but they don't want to invest the time and money in fixing them for the long-term. It's all about short term financial results and cost savings.
