Salaries were abnormally low and cost of the benefits were very high. Hard to live and survive in San Diego on what they were willing to pay. Only way to get a raise is to announce you're quitting.

Horrible, horrible insurance. Does not meet the minimum requirements of the affordable healthcare act, yet they are given a waiver since they're a government contractor. Yearly coverage limit is <$30,000, whereas the affordable health care act says there can be no yearly coverage caps, and if there are, they can't be less than $1.25 mil. They're happy if you have to stay late, off the clock, but try to leave 5 minutes early, and you'll get written up.
