Pros

Relaxed dress code, most weekends off, above par benefit package

Cons

low pay, heavy workload with high expectations, little or no opportunities for advancement, seldom and unsubstantial pay raises, misdirection and misleading statements from management, no accountability on any level, extremely high turnover rate, a lot of disgruntled and frustrated coworkers, micromanagement by managers unable to perform the task themselves

Once you hit a higher productivity, bonuses add up nicely Free food and snacks Not a lot of micromanagement Amazing healthcare benefits Generous time off Nice people

Cons

Pay is too low for location and the realities of how much the world costs now Not easy to move around in the company and quickly becomes a dead end job Some managers are more wrapped in their egos rather than thinking of new innovations or supporting their workers Trouble retaining people, so we are often understaffed and our productivity suffers

Overall a Great Place to work & Better than Other Places

Pros

- Community Engaged Company - Working in Art Department is very flexible with schedule - Development Opportunities (classes, workshops, internship...) - Good benefits (vs. where I've worked before) - Management in Art Department is supportive and transparent - Standing Desk for my back pain - Job Security, the company is growing - Free snacks and free lunch once per week No workplace is perfect but Custom Ink does strive to be a great place to work. There is some turn over, but people come back too. Young hires who don't have a lot of job/life experience might complain, but once they go out and work in other places, they see how nice this place can be.

Cons

- Management in Sales needs to improve. (depending on the person- micromanaging, needs to improve active listening, and needs to be more supportive) - With a push for company growth and cost of living increases, compensation needs to consider this, especially is the Company is committed to it's workers, doing the right thing, and being a community company.
