Pros

Lots of work, software is easy to use and management is amazing. They really care about the employees

Cons

You will have 35 to 45 homes at a time. You have to close every house. No punch guys. All walk throughs and anything not done at closing you will get done before you get your bonus. First year your insurance is crap.

Pros

Strong financial fundamentals. Good healthcare plans, especially after year 3 (Dental is the low point). Reward effort and production. Room to grow.

Cons

Company barely acknowledged COVID. Pushed employees with desk jobs to return summer 2020 prior to 2nd and 3rdwave of the pandemic. Wanted to pretend 2nd and 3rd wave didn’t happen. Lax on COVID safety in office. A little too bound to the offic. Paid vacation is antiquated. 2 weeks for a SR. professional new hire is just silly. HR isn’t organized. Needs to modernize to attract professionals. Does not support employee continuing education .

Pros

Strong industry in So. AZ (employment security), decent overall benefits package, usual # of days off, can accumulate sick leave up to about a month off (more as your years of service increase), ESPP, 50% of up to 6% employee contribution 401K matching, decent work environment, good computer equipment. Some employees can receive quarterly paid bonuses.

Cons

Work is very task repetitive, much of it is clerical, little involvement in Division planning. Heavy workload - business growth has not led to increase in employees. No regular communication shared with staff about new communities, current business impact issues/trends, involvement with management. No annual reviews and trend of not giving pay merit/cost of living increases. Too many software programs are used by the company for various admin/operational areas. A fully integrated system would be better. 6 year vesting on 401K. No formal job orientation, training or process/procedure manuals. Learn as you go and take notes.
