Pros

With the support of great management, you can truly own your own development. Career opportunities are always open with so many people leaving the company.

Cons

This year, there is a focus on our highest volume stores and what that simply means is no other store matters. While limitless payroll and positions and countless resources are being poured into the success of approximately 36 stores, the rest are left hanging out to dry. To be more specific positions are being eliminated, payroll, is being cut back every quarter and the expectation is increasing each week. If you get something as simple as a lunch break, consider yourself lucky. You may just be able to step off the floor to use the restroom as the only MOD for up to 8 hours at a time in between recovering the floor, turning keys, preventing theft, being the main back up cashier, taking in freight, pulling orders to ship from stores, checking in packages ship to the stores, and spending extended amounts of time on the phones with help desk in an attempt to repair all the declined pending work orders, and anything else you could possibly think of. Lace up your sneakers and run with the wind. Hourly managers are being eliminated and overtime is prohibited leaving the workload on the shoulders of the salary manager.

Pros

the discount is the only benefit to this company.

Cons

I feel that I was treated unfairly by my store manager.I feel like the district manager sided with my store manager on anything that she said. the store manager could do no wrong and I was talked to every other week about something different. I felt like I was not coached properly and I felt like the associates worked against me because the store manager publicized her frustration.

Pros

Decent pay, GREAT paid time off, good benefits, 30% discount, fun and easy product to work with.

Cons

I have never worked for a company that focused so much on accountability and negativity. It's always about what you are doing wrong, or what field level management considers "wrong" or sometimes even as far as something that is irrelevant to the business, but they make a big deal about something so minor and irrelevant just to hold someone accountable, as if they thrive on it to make it look like they were doing their job. Retail is a challenging environment, and Full Time management sacrifice a lot just so that a company can profit, and we get a short end of it, missing family time, weekend time, holidays, etc, so support your store leadership, motivate us, develop us, avoid negative context, we are in our roles for a reason, let us do our jobs, let us have fun, now THAT will create America's Favorite Place to Work. We can only control what we can control, we can only control as far as our customers are willing to do.
