Each week, you will average around 16 hours if all is well, but if not, then you might be just 4 to 8 hours a week. If you don't go to school, being a full time associate for DSW is not advisable. Furthermore, there was alot of favoritism in this company. The favorites would get great hours. If you were a favorite, you will most likely get about 22 to 32 hours and work in the mornings or mid-shift, which would give you ample time to bond with your managers because the store will be slow on those hours. If you are not a favorite, you will most likely get the closing shift with 4 to 8 hours a week work schedule. DSW work should just be considered as a supplemental employment, meaning it would be great to have it as a second or third job but never a main one.
