Pros

If you're not management, it's an okay place to work as a secondary job. Good discount on shoes. Friendly atmosphere.

Cons

Virtually no opportunity for part-timers to advance. The company is too contradictory in their expectations. They demand associates convert at least 60% of non-rewards members into members and actually cut associate hours down to 4 or 8 if they do not achieve this. Then when the customers write in to complain how much they are bieng harassed about rewards, the company tells the associates it's okay if the customers say no.

Managers politics to their past friends / employees. No tuition reimbursement. Growth limited after certain levels. Lot of changes in associates.

work/ life balance, flexable scheduling, recognition, relationships built with peers and customers, fun atmosphere, communication from management

Cons

workload sometimes feels too heavy to complete, the feeling that no matter how much you strive for great service levels, it nevers seems enough. The expectation of wowing all your customers is overwhelming. The customer dictates what they want and if they just want to shop, we should be allowed to let them with out being critized that we are not performing service to our customers.
