EVERYTHING ELSE. Other manager are awful to work with and look to throw other under the bus and have no care about maintaining a professional work environment. Favorite are played so very obviously and the district manager and above could not care less. Employees continued complaining about a manager who was treating all of them poorly and I personally had to talk associates out of quitting. This went on for a year and nothing was ever done about it. They are so short staffed that people don’t even get breaks and are expected to “stay until the job is done” I under stand that but sometime this meant staying until 4am - and God forbid you mention anything because then you are told that maybe you aren’t cut out for the job. Towards the end of my employment (left by choice) all of the managers were coming in on their days off and if you didn’t you were ostracized, if you didn’t want to or couldn’t work 13+ hours days you were looked down on, never expect to get out of work on time. They paid me almost $30/hr and they didn’t want to pay their associates over $9/hr. Even if you bring an issue up to management or over their heads to the next level nothing is EVER done about anything. I needed surgery and told my boss in October, she said she would let me know when a good time to have it was, I left in May and never heard anything. Turn over is crazy for people who have respect for themselves and their families. Every day going in to work was miserable and I wish I had never taken the job, no wonder they were willing to pay so much, and then constantly bring it up and rub my face in it to get me to stay longer and come in on my days off. Sorry, no matter how much you pay me, you don’t own me and you don’t get to make me feel bad about myself.
