Pros

Great place to start a sales career, Fraternity like enviroment helps you meet a ton of people. The training is very good if you are new to sales. Lots of food and snacks. Transactional enviroment allows you to fail fast enough to get up to speed.

Cons

Where do I start? The company has vison anymore. Upper managment has taken their money from the aquisition and just left. The replacements have no idea of company culture, practices, values, market, or customer needs. Let me repeat that:The replacements have NO idea of company culture, practices, values, market, or customer needs. So, when the exec team is playing, "Weekend at Bernies" middle managemnt flounders around looking for some way to do their jobs, withoout training or information. What ends up happening is a Mad Max version of keeping your job: Backstabbing, brown-nosing, gossip, and other forms of college fraternity BS make up most of the employees day. Working hard, or eing good at your job, makes you a target because it makes others look bad. Toxic, Toxic business enviroment. But if you want a sales job and not really do sales, this is a good place for you. Because no one in charge you won't get fired for lack of production, only for getting caught in drama. If you are looking for a bunch of drama, a salary, a cool office, or maybe a place to get preganant, (They have a great maternity benfit) this is your place.

Pros

- Centrally located. Easy to get to by public transportation - Owned by Intuit. Great benefits.

Cons

- Sales-centric. All other departments are treated as overheads and worthless. - Execs are all checked out and inaccessible. While still holding the seats, they rarely come to work. - No growth opportunities unless you are the "chosen ones", then you are on the fast track. A couple twenty-something yrs old mediocre managers got their positions and multiple promotions within 1-2 short year because they knew the execs from outside the company. - Does not fire under-performed middle managers. A few of them proved to be wrong hires and ran their teams to the ground, but still get to keep their positions. As a result, team members have low morale and are uninspired. The execs knew exactly who those middle managers are because they receive employee survey results twice a year, but did nothing to correct the situation.

Pros

-There are some Really great people who work there (intelligent and good at sales) -Great opportunity for those straight out of college who need experience

Cons

-Mid-level management is not competent (this cannot be stressed enough) -Very much a micro-managed job (daily and mid-day meetings for check-in's) -Compensation is not competitive for Software Sales -Career advancement is essentially non-existant (RGM's and NSM's have agressive numbers) -Sales Culture does not reward performance as much as politics, very much a Frat culture -Churn and Burn culture -Technology is no longer excited or cutting edge - basically a update version of Constant Contact -Dog eat Dog culture
