Pros

No pros. Don't trust anyone. If you currently work for them be looking for and exit strategy. They only promote weak willed individuals who have no back bone and allow themselves to walked all over. Which means that you will be walked all over as well.

Cons

There are a lot of fake posts on here created by management or HR. There is no home and work balance. The managers rarely have any time experience in the jobs that they are overseeing. They continue to show that they do not care about their employees. No transparency. They will expect last minute for you to cover a shift even though they New about the need for coverage months ago. They will expect you to learn more and work more but will not give you anything in return. Management has very outdated ways of handling things. You cause any stir they will get rid of you quick. Currently using this for experience. Had planned on trying to make a career with ECi but they have shown that's not possible. I do not recommend this company to anyone!

Pros

Team leads do care as they are in the same boat as you. Work from home is an option. There is no expectation to work past your shift hours.

Cons

I wish I could rate this company lower than a 1. If you are acquired from them prepared to lose 50%+ of your staff. They outsource all development and what little QA they have. They cut products after all of their promises not to. The Shoptech acquisition has had 1 product EOL and another going in maintenance mode with a skeleton crew to continue. Within a week of firing the developers there were wide spread outages in the hosted product. Support has no real room for growth. They do not consider going from t1 to t2 a promotion so no raises. There is 0 investment in the products or employees.

Pros

Mostly stable hours Trustworthy HR director Day off for a community service project Many employees are dedicated to doing what's right for the customer. When (emphasis on when) management is good, its pretty good.

Cons

Ever-increasing amount of stress and work pushed off from other departments. Management is not forthcoming with information. "Good-ol-boys Club" that encourages employees to not look as if they are being social instead of working at all times. Most departments have their own goals that conflict with every other department. Executives have no idea what is really going on as is evident by employee concerns rarely being addressed no matter how much evidence is given. Management is not interested in your career path at ECI. They will ask you and never give information on how to reach that goal. New product is a broken mess that is being pushed down customer's throats while support has not even seen the full product. Company values (People > Customer > Value > Financials) is a joke that executives believe is happening, employees wish was true, and management parrots to keep their positions.
