Bad management creating bad culture...

Pros

Work life balance was always great and some of the tenured employees were really great to work with.

Cons

Management is only out to advance themselves in their careers. Employees are held back from promotions because they're told they are the "best"at the job their doing so advancement is rare. Bonuses and raises do not exist and if they do they are way below market standards. The equipment is old and antiquated which makes it difficult to carry out your job most of the time. I spent so many years here expecting to advance my career but it was a complete waste of time. Luckily a employee who left the company took me with them to a real tech company.

Pros

The everyday employees are great and the location is great. Casual dress code and plenty of vacation time. These are the only pros.

Cons

Worse managers I have ever been around. Low level managers are too afraid to stand up to upper management, and well they should be because this place treats all the employees like liabilities instead of like assets and they will fire you if you disagree with them. There is no training at all. Well, their version of training is taking you in a room with 5 or 6 others and dumping tons of information in your lap all at once. No one can learn like this. After you sit through that crap they expect you to know how to solve issues related to that class. It's like taking an economics 101 class and then thinking you are ready to be the CFO. It's ridiculous. They keep losing good employees because they don't pay enough. Pay is way under average for the work you do. The support techs are understaffed and over-worked, and under paid.

Pros

Friendly people working in CES and support overall. Decent pay for people with no experience.

Cons

Heavily micromanaged by your team lead’s manager. Constant overhaul from new ownership that takes over when the company is sold (which is often). Company isn’t actually interested in providing quality customer service. 80% of the time customers spend over 3 days waiting for their problems to be fixed after they’ve reported them. High turnover rate due to poor leadership. When they are desperate to hire new employees they’ll hire someone (with no experience) for your team and start them at a higher hourly pay, AND expect you to train them. Also, the raises are next to nothing (don’t even match how much the dollar inflates on a yearly basis so you end up taking a pay cut by staying with the company).
