Pros

Some good people in the business and you will make friends as youre all in it together weathering the storm

Cons

Where do i start? The business is being overseen by an HR person who is now the COO and uses far too much AI. This was a good place to work until the aforementioned HR person came in. Since then the business hasn't hit target and earned bonus - despite being told this would be easier to achieve. There is special treatment to certain members of staff with the ability of working from home, time off and promotions. This stems from the culture within the business where prohibited substances are encouraged on staff nights out as a team bonding. The CEO needs to take on feedback from glassdoor and even comments from members of staff posting internally on their last day before the post being taken down. Sales teams are treated as God's and can't do wrong despite miss sells and dodgy deals to bring in the numbers. Support teams having sales targets and other teams seemingly getting missed from internal communications/ benefits/ promotions etc because they are not part of the 'in crowd' and attending the 'staff bonding' nights. Good people who have built a career here have left and when this become knowledge they are let out the backdoor or even ridiculed by senior management for wanting to move on.

Pros

Decent schedule. 9 or 9:30 start to 6 or 6:30 end time. HR provided food and drink on sales closing day to keep morale up.

Cons

The entire business seemed as if it was a competition to see who could do the least and average tenure amongst the service team was less than a year. Vastly understated the degree of sales KPIs involved for the job and their importance. Not a true CSR position. Constantly changing goals and procedures, sometimes on a week by week basis without notification. Home office actively sabotage the other divisions across the globe and takes advantage of the looser labor regulations in the US. Commissions? You might get paid them (they didn't have a transparent way to track sales and commission-able referrals and may have had tracking error unless you have customer give direct payment over the phone). Sales KPIs trumped Customer Service KPIs or was stressed much heavier than the service aspects of the job. Most managers Will micromanage. Sometimes from a different time zone.
