Pros

The only benefit is the 401k. Automated system to call out so you are not put on a guilt trip for family emergencies

Cons

there are so many cons I don't know where to start. Higher management is a joke. They gossip non stop. They won't help you off they don't think it meets business needs. They tell you to have other people take care of your kids if they are sick/in the hospital. If not they threaten to fire you. Upper management picks on specific pcas and talks down to them and yells at them in the front of others. They make you feel embarrassed if you have issues outside of work.

Pros

Great pay. Good benefits.

Cons

I was brought onboard with 10+ years experience in a certain IT role and my position was described as a system architect -- I was advised that the company was in the middle of a big relocation effort and I would be integral in planning this move as well as policy implementation moving forward. I was also told that working remotely would not be an issue as the rest of my team was located halfway across the country and I'd be the only person on my team in my office. I was really excited to bring my skill set to the table and begin work, which lasted for about a week. I've been at Express Scripts for approximately three months now, and still have not been provided the system access required for me to do my job. Nobody can explain why it has not transpired and it greatly inhibits my ability to work, there has been a ticket requesting this access in since before I started in July. There is no real training, when members of my team had time they'd conference me in and let me watch them do certain tasks at which point I was expected to understand the process. There is no centralized documentation and every single department fights with other departments that need to get along in order to move forward. Express Scripts is an enormous, poorly-engineered Rube Goldberg machine that ends up throwing marbles all over the floor. Management is a joke, my hiring manager who made all of the promises to me was unceremoniously moved to an other team within a month of me being at the company and now our team is managed by some exec who is remote to not only me, but all the rest of my team as well and has not so much as introduced himself since becoming our manager. He has no idea how any of the process for my department works, I don't know what management really DOES, but it seems like a terrible idea to replace the experienced manager with some faceless exec a few weeks into bringing on three new team members who are not trained whatsoever. Long story short, I have been absolutely miserable every single day since a week into my employment. The pay is absolutely not worth it, the company is completely mismanaged and I have no idea how they manage to stay in the Fortune 20 other than the fact that healthcare as an industry is completely screwed. Beware.
