Express Scripts reviews about "management"

Express Scripts used to be challenging but fun. It has turned into the most exhausting, soul-sucking place I've ever worked. Management is constantly asking us to do more with less; as a result, there is no collaboration and the work-life balance is a joke. They talk about innovation, but innovation it's impossible when we can't even convince people to perform their core job functions much less do extra. Plus, with the recent return to work requirements aren't working - morale is in the toilet and productivity is completely shot. Instead of doing our jobs and having good work-life balance, we're in the car getting to and from work where no one talks to each other except on the phone anyway.

Dont really have any cons

-For a workload perspective, they chew you up and spit you out — next man in line mentality…but as mentioned previously, you are rewarded from a financial and work flexibility perspective, at least this was the case in clinical account management

high metrics, extremely volatile "customers", management not caring about their employees outside of work matters

-Management is not open to new technologies as far as my experience is concerned but not I am not sure.

Have to go into office for no reason

During covid gloated about making billions but didn't want to give out bonuses because they weren't "sure" how covid would play out. Never paid it out. Went through multiple layoffs in 2023 and 2024. Culture was extremely toxic prior to me joining then it went well for a few years before reverting to not a good environment. Indian outsourcing replacing American jobs. Management promotions based on technical skills and NOT soft skills making for horrid managers across IT.

Poor management. Favoritism. No discipline for poor work performance.
