Pros
Work from home, some half days on Friday’a during the summer. The people are somewhat cool but I wouldn’t really know since mainly my only interactions with them are through messaging and emails.
Cons
Training portion of the role essentially didn’t exist. They basically throw you in with the wolves right away. Sure that’s a somewhat good approach to get your hands dirty but right off the bat you take over a former employees duties in like the 2nd week. You always have a full plate of work to do then every other week, a higher manager will ask your team to get an urgent project done and then your plate is overflowing. Back to the quick training, I essentially was burnt out in the first month there and have lost all motivation and desire to get my tasks done. It’s been pretty painful trying to power through my work to get things done on time.
