Some people are nice and actually care about their jobs and helping others.

Cons

By far, the worst company I have worked for. Horrible company culture. High turnover makes it difficult/near impossible to get anything done. Stingy. Little care for remote corporate employees, which a lot are (ex. not included whatsoever on Employee Appreciation Day celebrations). If you want to feel a part of this company but are not located in St. Louis, good luck. I was blindsided by my layoff, a result of "corporate restructuring." After years of working for the company, it would have been nice to have received some feedback ahead of time or at least a head's up. Ultimately, they care about the bottom line and nothing for their employees.

Pros

ECP is owned by $98 billion Partners Group in Switzerland! I worked 30 years and received not one penny of severance when my job was eliminated. Should have received five months minimum pay. Greedy and no concern for loyal employees who sacrificed so much for the company.

Working with the PEC leaders and team and field teams. Helping employees feel valued and heard. DM’s who are pulling hard each and every day to make a difference.

Cons

Benefits - they are expensive, they cover nothing and your options are slim. Constant promises that they will be better but little has changed in the last several years. Things are delayed such as vision perks cards, logo wear, 2021 bonus payout, etc. and nobody communicates. Communication - there is none unless senior leaders are busy talking about you via text msgs and send it to you by accident. Culture - the expectation is that you give loyalty, hard work, commitment, respect, you life, etc. but none of these are given back. Retaliation, intimidation, harassment, discrimination, bulling, favoritism are all used constantly by senior leaders. After multiple attempts to raise concerns up via proper channels in HR nothing was addressed. Nobody cares! Opportunities- jobs are just given to people and if you are not part of a group you will not get ahead no matter how hard you try. You don’t even get a courtesy interview. You constantly have to watch your back.
