Pros

I do not have an pros left

Cons

• Revolving door of staff. • There is a mass exit of corporate employees. • Many of the companies we work with aren't being paid. • New upper level leadership is somehow worse than the previous leadership. They at least cared. • They have taken away every employee benefit possible and are still looking to remove more. • no communication • not many executive level women left. They have all been replaced by men • men make significantly more than women with less knowledge and experience • every department is understaffed and salaried employees are working 70+ hours (20 hours unpaid) to keep up • they are forcing good hardworking employees out. • HR turns a blind eye to the discrimination I could honestly go on and on. I would have given less stars if I was able

Pros

There are talented and caring individuals working at Eyecare partners, particularly in the clinics. There is a yearly vision benefit to use towards frames and lenses.

Cons

Many times the talented employees, already in place, are overlooked for new talent. The new talent makes decisions without the history and then leaves. This happens in a revolving pattern and leaves those on the ground level discouraged and left to deal with poor decisions made by those without prior company experience. The company cannot get traction on initiatives because of the constant turnover at the executive levels. This is in all area but felt the most in HR, RCM, and IT. There have been poor IT decisions made over the years that cause efficiency and workflow problems at all levels of the clinics. This is a systemic issue and not only related to one location or group. There is little trust in what ECP stands for. There are many examples across the company of run down buildings, outdated equipment, and major pay discrepancies among people in the same roles.

Pros

…is how long you’ll enjoy working for them.

Cons

- deplorable cost of healthcare “benefits” - promised bonuses not given at the last minute - completely ignorant management - nepotism & favoritism will get you a promotion faster than any legitimate qualifications will - pregnant employees “laid off” suspiciously close to when they’d be requesting maternity leave - employees are very near guilted into donating to an “employee fund” but there is no transparency regarding how much money is in the fund, who is donating, who gets to decide which employees are eligible, etc. - loyal employees who were with their original offices well before ECP bought and subsequently ruined them, aren’t ever recognized, rewarded, or adequately compensated. - problem employees aren’t addressed, rather allowed to move from one office to another office ad infinitum. - outside consulting firms are paid nauseating amounts to do half-assed work that ECP employees would be much better at. - if you currently work for ECP, and still think ECP cares about you, ask your supervisor if your last “merit” raise reflects the work you do, and if it doesn’t, ask for an amount that does… heads up, you won’t get it. You should just be happy you have a job! Right!? TL;DR morale is at an all time low, and yet somehow getting worse… It’s a bright and shining A+ example of profits over patients.
