Pros

- This is by far the best product I've ever sold. The pure joy and excitement heard from customers truly inspires me to want to put my best foot forward. I strive to have the customer experience match the product experience. - People here care about their job and the people around them. From a sales Org, that can be rare in my experience. -Leadership cares, they know when things are tough and they honestly try and get to the root cause and figure out a solution. But as the company gets bigger this some times takes longer. - This job is more than just a quota, It's about wanting to better yourself and leadership constantly harps on wanting Figma to be a place we look back on and lean on all our learnings and experiences.

Cons

- Sure, quota can be tough at time. I won't lie, but show me a sales role where quota isn't a constant pain point. We're in sales and we live and die by quota. - Leadership has taken a lot of time to better evaluate how territories/books are cut. They have very recently adjusted our quota to not only be Net New ARR but also renewal ARR. This is a recent, and very welcomed shift, that rewards us for fighting customer churn, which previously wasn't the case.

Pros

- Really, really, really smart and ambitious people WITH GREAT ATTITUDES (huge sigh of relief!) - Incredible dedication to inclusion and belonging - Perks are great 👍 - Offer hybrid and remote roles - Coworkers and leadership are so respectful and supportive of your time/life outside of work - Amazing products already (truly) and endless potential

Cons

- If you want the ability to come into an office, the current options are limited to San Francisco and New York in US.

Pros

- Incredible product - Highly relevant solution (borderline monopoly for UX) - Good comp plan w/ accelerators - Great team of AE's and SC's

Cons

- Diminishing culture and very political - High intensity work - new pitch every couple months - Overly focused on having a perfect pitch - Leadership is obsessed w/ metrics, which seems to get more granular each month - Heavily graded on your number of executive meetings - Over 80% of Ent AE's left in past 12 months - zero recognition of this from leadership - Top performing reps being gaslit into leaving because they are labelled as "old Figma" or not perfectly adopting process - even though they are outperforming most - Impatient expectations on AI driven revenue - Micromanagement - Very much ADD leadership - will change directions on what is important - Lower level management tends to look after their PR more than anything else - the ones who didn't left or moved across the org - Horrid AE to SC ratio (this is getting better, but so many SCs are leaving from burnout, thus the challenge continues) - No CSMs - you are basically the AE, CSM and oftentimes the SC
