Great First Job

Pros

In-depth explanation of financial technologies, all employees are educated on processes and willing to help you with any questions - any time. The culture at Figure is truly inclusive and the people have a vested interest in your success.

Cons

The company is still growing so there are some pains associated - mainly involving new hierarchies of workload distribution and career growth opportunities. Overall, this is not unique to Figure, but a fairly common expectation with a young and growing company.

Pros

-There are great people who work at Figure -The snacks -Good healthcare

Cons

You truly feel like you do not matter. This place will make you feel like a number and nothing else. They say there’s room for a career path, but there isn’t. You can be a supervisor MAYBE if you do your job well enough for a while until more people are brought in. They don’t pay enough for having to deal with the work/people you deal with on a daily basis. The PTO is really discouraged from being used and makes no sense.

Pros

There are more pros than I will be able to list in this review, but include: A dynamic work environment Great benefits and pay, with bonus potential Fully stocked Kitchen Knowledgeable leadership team Open workforce communication Continuous feedback channels, for both individual and company improvement Plenty of friendly faces around the office

Cons

The only "con" of being a Customer Success Associate; this is a VERY demanding role. You cannot get by simply clocking in and out. Figure is devoted to both it's employees and customers, but I would emphasize that they are capable of knowing who is invested in the company and who is there just to collect their pay and go home. There are innumerable benefits to putting effort in, and plenty of recognition to go around. I would not recommend this job to anyone who is not willing to put in effort, and to be an active contributor to Figure.

Thank you for your feedback on recognition as we want everyone at Figure to know how valued and appreciated they are. We are all building this together. We are continuously thinking of ways to recognize our employee contributions from formal CSA of the month programs to everyday shoutouts on our company wide slack channels. We know it’s the big stuff as much as the Thank You’s at the end of the day. We are also building out more career ladders so hard work and high performance is recognized with growth opportunities. Please share any additional ideas with your People Ops team!
