Company has been gutted of values and talent.

Pros

Still some very smart and great employees left who are true advocates for the business and clients. Unfortunately, none of them are in the C-Suite and most are looking to leave.

Cons

Internal chaos, confusion, and clueless C-Levels are running the show. Internally, the new name and branding is running joke. "Power of People" yet company is cutting benefits, cutting critical positions without much thought, and placing customer satisfaction well below the bottom line as far as priorities. Pay, quality of life, and product are far behind competitors. Things are only getting worse. Executives will not take any responsibility and will cast blame on the merger or those beneath them.

Thanks for the feedback. We have been working hard around our product offering even though we are doing some standardization here to ensure we scale the business and offer a solid customer experience. In terms of quality of life - we offer more virtual work opportunities, a better shift pivot to allow for training at work, and we instituted unlimited PTO to support work-life balance. Unlimited PTO is great to use for kids activities, to aid in caring for aging parents, to help you pursue the adoption process, to help housetrain a new puppy, or take a bucket list vacation. Our benefits program was not cut. We now offer more benefits and spread the spend over more than just medical insurance to ensure we touch more employees. We increased the 401k match significantly (used to be a 50% match on 4% and it increased to a 75% match on 6%), we increased participation into the bonus plan (includes all exempt employees now instead of a small subsection), we now offer improved maternity / paternity benefits, and we increased employer provided life insurance.

Pros

I really like the work I am doing. I like my managers. Some of the benefits are great.

Cons

I just found out that the company is now hiring new employees in my position for significantly more an hour than what I am getting paid right now and I have been with the company for almost 2 years. With the increase in medical costs that I got because of the new medical plans, I am struggling. To find out that a new hire for the same position is getting paid significantly more is a real punch in the gut, and is very upsetting. That is morally wrong to not increase the pay of your existing employees. I have been a great employee, getting great evaluations, but now I feel like I am not a valued employee at all.

Pros

Not much really. There is some innovation going on and the data centers are indeed impressive. And many execs drive real nice sedan's!!

Cons

Simply put, the former cultures of Peak 10 and Viawest have been reworked into a toxic work environment. Leadership is concerned primarily with watching their own backs and there is little concern for most employees well being. this is also now a VERY promote-from-outside company. New management will bring in new blood while getting rid of the great talent that built the foundations of the company, but hey, if it saves some $$$, thats the way to go!!

Thanks for the feedback. We continue to promote from within. Over the last two quarters, we have promoted more than 100 of our employees into roles with increasing responsibilities. We are heavily investing in training and certifications to ensure that trend continues. In terms of the work environment, we boast local and fleet wide employee programming including bringing charitable opportunities into the workplace to make it easy for our team to "give back".
