Pros

Despite issues with upper mamagement, my co-workers' commitment to excellence made every projects a success.

Cons

The CEO seemed to be an incoherent force, driving the company towards chaos rather than progress. The environment sorely lacked the synergy necessary for effective teamwork and collaboration. Instead of encouraging a spirit of innovation, the atmosphere was stifled, hindering any chance of meaningful problem-solving. The CEO's impudent leadership style, akin to that of a madman, created an environment where constructive collaboration was a distant dream. It's disheartening to think about the wasted potential that could have been unlocked with a more rational and supportive leadership approach.

We appreciate all forms of feedback; however, this example is not very constructive. There are a lot of generic buzzwords throughout the review, and the wording choices don’t match the internal language used at Forensic Fluids Laboratories. (Review sites like this can be valuable for prospective job seekers, but we encourage the reader to think critically and be wary of comments like this in today’s world of paid Amazon reviews and ChatGPT clones.) Regarding your “Advice to Management” – FFL follows the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), and we have a Vision Traction Organizer (VTO) that clarifies and communicates our mission, vision, and strategic goals. This VTO is posted throughout the building and reviewed quarterly at each level of the organization. If you have more suggestions on how to better communicate the VTO we are happy to hear your ideas.

Employees are treated horribly

Pros

There's nothing great about working here. Everyone is pretty much miserable, and so am I.

Cons

The way employees are treated over here was terrible. The company completely disregards employees wellbeing, ignoring any concerns or feedback we may raise. Managers act rude, disrespecting employees and harassing them. The horrible treatment resulted in a miserable workplace, with everyone being too stressed and frustrated to even pretend they're fine.

Thank you for your comments. We have a non-discrimination and anti-harassment policy to make sure all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against any type of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation. In addition to one of our Core Values, “Be Friendly,” we have an anti-harassment and anti-retaliatory policy clearly defined in the Employee Handbook, along with documented channels to report these issues. We hope that you will consider providing helpful feedback regarding these issues in your future organizations. (Review sites like this can be valuable for prospective job seekers, but we encourage the reader to think critically and be wary of comments like this in today’s world of paid Amazon reviews and ChatGPT clones.) This is an unfortunate reality of Glassdoor allowing reviews of a company by anyone, regardless if they have ever worked there.

Outdated Lab Equipment and Incompetent Management

Pros

If you don't want to suffer, don't work here!

Cons

I am deeply frustrated with the malfunctioning lab equipment that led to unreliable results and delays. My supervisor, a delusional and snarky individual, would berate me for the equipment failures, even though I had no control over them. I was constantly under pressure to produce results, even when the equipment was not working properly. This led to a high level of stress and anxiety, and I eventually left the company due to the toxic work environment. The equipment is outdated and unreliable, and the management is incompetent and unsupportive. If you are looking for a lab that can provide you with accurate and timely results, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We have state-of-the-art equipment that is maintained by our onsite team members as well as regular service from our vendors. We have weekly Level 10 meetings to Identify, Discuss, and Solve issues including any equipment matters that arise. This, along with other tools in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) toolkit, enables all team members to have a forum to address any concerns they may have and help our organization practice one of our Core Values, “Find Better Ways.” (Review sites like this can be valuable for prospective job seekers, but we encourage the reader to think critically and be wary of comments like this in today’s world of paid Amazon reviews and ChatGPT clones.)
