We’d like to start by saying thank you for your more than six years of commitment to Fox – to your fellow team members and to our members. We agree that our Fox Family is full of kind and caring people – we’re happy you’ve experienced that, too. Regarding your comments on pay and bonuses - our approach to compensation is rooted in our Total Rewards philosophy, which includes our life-friendly environment and team member recognition and celebration, in addition to compensation and benefits. We are committed to compensation that is competitive in the marketplace. Regarding your specific situation, compensation information is a private personnel matter. However, we never want our team members to feel unhappy about their compensation situation. We promote and value open and transparent communication on all matters, especially related to compensation. Our recommendation is to reach out to your leader or to our HR team so we can have a more in-depth conversation about your specific situation.

Pros

Honestly, the products and service offered at Fox are what truly make a great financial. Its still my main financial institution. I love the people who work there and believe in serving our communities, but it's a job and we're all here to keep our finances afloat with this crazy economy. It's a perfect job for those who are not looking to grow into the leadership of a company but want a stable everyday job. The benefits are comparable to other companies that have understood productivity is equated to the happiness of your team, which is most modern companies and non profits.

Cons

From teller to MRO you can grow quickly, in fact I believe they're going to mostly MROs with limited tellers now, which will keep the ones who like to grow occupied for a few years, maybe even more. But beyond that, it's incredibly hard to grow to any high paying position. If you don't mind being stuck making below 30 for your career, then it's great. But if you have goals beyond that, this company is hard. Especially when they keep hiring the high paying positions externally while claiming they promote growth within. There is only growth for the maxed out at 27 an hour jobs, and that was hard to get to after 8+ years with a resume from teller to assistant manger! They even took away the branch manger position at each branch, its now regional. Of course they didn't fire anyone, and some companies would, but they're not actively hiring those positions anymore. You can be an assistant manger so basically all the work of a manger without the title, which is important for your resume, and high pay. So good luck to anyone looking for more. As soon as I left, I made it over the 30 an hour range in a STARTING position! I had to laugh that I spent so long negotiating my wage at Fox to immediately have my wage increased at a starting position. There words were, "We're so excited to have someone with your experience and clearly you've worked hard." I had no experience in the position I was applying for but they recognized hard work and aptitude.

Thank you for highlighting so many things that make Fox special – our people, our service, and our products! We love so many things about Fox and we’re excited that you do, too. However, we’re saddened to hear that your experience related to career development wasn’t what you were hoping for. Our commitment to our team members’ growth and development starts with our team members sharing their hopes and dreams with their leader so we can put you on a path to make that possible - and we've seen that come true. In 2024, we had 45% of our positions filled internally and 19% of our team members received a promotion. We’re so proud of these numbers as it shows our commitment to providing opportunities for our team members internally. Related to your concerns about pay, our compensation philosophy is rooted in our approach to Total Rewards, which takes into account not only our competitive pay, but benefits, our work environment, recognition, celebration, and a life-friendly approach to our work. Your individual experience matters to us, and we want to learn more about your journey while at Fox. Please consider giving our HR team a call at (920)993-9000 so we can learn more from you directly.
