Pros

My role as a childrens mental health case manager is salaried and has tons of flexibility and control over my schedule. Free and required supervision (speaking for the clinical and case management departments not sure about residential or school staff.) Upward mobility, if you are willing to change departments. 401k gift contributions for employees after one year even if you don't personally contribute anything. Plenty of females in leadership roles.

Cons

Mostly white and under 40 work force ( both describe me) Benefits aren't as good as other non profits (high deductible bcbs plans are the only option, no employer paid short term disability, no paid parental leave.) Some departments experience high turn over and staffing shortages.

Pros

Meeting and helping clients is rewarding. Fraser employees are friendly and fun. Fraser cares about employees and families. I look forward to coming into work every day. There is routine but also something new every day. Fraser is an amazing non-profit company to work for.

Cons

There is not always enough work to keep busy during the slower moments in the day.
