As an employee of United Hospital System for almost three years, I can honestly state what a wonderful place it is to work. Each morning, I look forward to starting my day with new learning experiences and new projects to work on. I started at United Hospital System in an entry level position and have been promoted within my department. My first impression of United Hospital System is the friendliness of ALL staff I encountered during my orientation phase. I have since developed relationships with numerous managers, co-workers, and administrative staff. I enjoy getting to know my co-workers throughout the system and within my department. A positive atmosphere is what I enjoy each day. United Hospital System is a place where I feel safe, comfortable, and HAPPY each day I work. I have very open and honest communication with my direct supervisors and have the ability to bring concerns, questions, and new ideas to them at any time. The management staff at United Hospital System is very focused, driven, and willing to help ALL employees succeed and work to their full potential. I believe numbers speak volume: to be a debt free hospital, to have over 2,000 employees, to have a a large number of employees who have been with United for over 20 years, what a great accomplishment for UHSI. United Hospital System is a wonderful place to work, grow, and develop friendship. UHSI is a stable work environment and a company who offers growth and many opportunities to employees. United is a place I plan to make my career home! I look forward to all the positive experiences and awesome opportunities I will be presented with.
