Pros

Friendly place to work. Good job security. Co-workers are great to work with as long as you don't need to work with upper management. One of the better and larger employers in Kenosha.

Cons

Upper management is an good ole boys club. When it benefits UHS they view the company as being part of the Chicago and Milwaukee market, when not (such as for salary surveys) they limit it to Kenosha and its immediately adjacent communities.

the unit I work on was very flexible with my personal schedule. For the most part all the staff are very friendly and willing to help

Cons

Upper management. If you're a new nurse you get shafted and tend to get the harder patient assignment or always get first admission (this happens on certain floors).
