Pros

None. Everything about this company is horrible.

Cons

Fullstack's managerial hierarchy is characterized by an overbearing micromanagement culture that stifles innovation and demoralizes staff. Employees are offered little to no autonomy, as supervisors obsess over inconsequential details, thereby undermining productivity and hindering skill development. This level of micromanagement creates a suffocating environment that deprives employees of any sense of ownership or creativity. Workplace aggression at Fullstack is not an anomaly but rather a norm. Passive-aggressive communications and overt hostility have created a toxic environment that makes effective collaboration almost impossible. If you're looking to work in a place that fosters positive interpersonal relationships, Fullstack is not that place. Perhaps even more disquieting are the instances of casual racism and sexism that seem to pervade the company culture. The veneer of 'office banter' thinly veils discriminatory comments, perpetuating an environment of inequality and discomfort for minorities and women. Employees should never have to sacrifice their dignity or well-being for a paycheck. Transparent meritocracy is replaced with blatant favoritism, further corroding the integrity of Fullstack's internal structure. Promotions and rewards often go to those who pander to senior management, as opposed to those who genuinely contribute to the company's objectives. Therefore, your hard work and dedication are likely to go unnoticed, let alone rewarded. The concept of work-life balance is virtually non-existent at Fullstack. Employees are expected to prioritize work over personal life, leading to burnout and a high turnover rate. Your personal well-being is unequivocally compromised when you enter into employment with Fullstack. How anyone could conduct due diligence on Fullstack and still consider it a sound investment is baffling. Its manifold issues do not merely represent operational inefficiencies but signify deep-rooted systemic failures and ethical lapses. For prospective employees, this means your chances of career growth, personal development, and job satisfaction are exceptionally low. Any short-term gains, such as an attractive salary package, are vastly overshadowed by the long-term risks associated with such a fundamentally flawed enterprise. In conclusion, Fullstack serves as a textbook example of what not to look for in an employment opportunity. It's a quagmire of ethical and managerial failures that any prudent job-seeker should steer clear of. The company's myriad issues do not just make it a poor choice for investment; they make it a hazardous environment for your career and well-being.

Pros

FullStack Labs is a top-notch software shop with one of the best teams I've had the pleasure to work with. Their business model is structured pretty well for their industry, which seems to lead to happy customers and happy teams. The way their projects are managed, time is tracked, and how employees are paid are all harmonious. Everybody carries a small bit of the weight and as a result, no one person has to bear any perceivable burden. Their transparency with employees and clients is a bit shocking at first but without question feels like the correct way to operate. There's not much red-tape. Need to create a new app? Do it. Need to spin up a new server? Go ahead. Need to work from home to wait for a delivery? Just let the team know. There's typically no need to submit a form, get sign-off, or otherwise prevent work from getting done. Everybody has a title, but I'm not sure I know most of them. What becomes more important is the role everybody takes for a given project. I might be a developer on one project and a lead on another. Employees seem to be pretty well matched to their projects and roles and are set up for growth. There aren't really "classes" of employees where one person is perceived as more important as another. The tech is fresh but not ridiculous. Most of the tech we use is "new" but far enough from the bleeding edge where we avoid a lot of wasted cycles. That said, there's not really a "we always use X", so there are plenty of projects using variations of tech in an effort to find out what seems to work the best.

Cons

One downside to having a company which is ~98% software engineers is that you have to be good at speaking up if you need something. Generally, nobody is going to tap you on the shoulder and ask if you'd like a different mouse, coffee, or projects. This puts the burden on you to shape the environment around what you need. That being said, I've personally never had or heard of any request to improve the environment declined.
