      Good but with caveats

      Pros

      Good pay and generally a good introduction to more specified lab work.

      Cons

      Expect being blocked from developing further than 'your' area unless its needed. Favorites are played here, and if you end up on someone bad side its the end of you. The blame culture here is also very real, expect to defend your results from not only management but also coworkers, document everything.

      Fair Pay & Perks, But Training and Culture Need Work!

      1. The salary package is average, but for entry-level positions, it’s considered quite competitive. 2. Free shuttle bus service to the nearest MRT station, making commuting more convenient. (It's provided by the building management , not the company itself)

      Cons

      1. The onboarding training could be significantly improved. As newcomers, it takes time to adapt to a company’s work environment and procedures. That’s why there’s a three-month probation period. Expecting employees to master everything within a week is unrealistic. 2. The office morale was quite toxic. Some staff members were vaping indoors, blaming colleagues unfairly, and even shouting at their desks, creating a stressful work environment. 3. Managers, please provide more support to new joiners—we truly need your guidance and help.

      Unethical company

      Some of the people on local teams are friendly to work with

      Cons

      Upper management is unethical. Company also makes people sign a highly restrictive noncompete to join and to be promoted as a scare tactic to try to make people not leave. They especially treat the Chinese employees poorly and don’t pay well while overworking everyone

      Insane work hours and gaslighting from upper management

      Cons

      Chinese Style Management Insane workload and work hours. When you let the manager know that the workload is impossible, they will just tell you to improve efficiency instead of hiring more people, and you will be constantly feeling like your are bad at your job. The emotional damage from the managers is real. Run away from here if you can.
