Disconnected mangement and cheap cheap cheap

industry-standard benefits, that's about it these days

Cons

Top-heavy management that seems completely disconnected from the customers. Forever trying to do things cheaper despite cheap leads to huge issues and outages affecting customers multiple times. Poor deployments, lack of responsibility, commitment to poor decisions, yearly redundancies affecting long-term and knowledgeable staff, terrible spending on tools that do not work or exceed already used ones, departments without actual specific management, practically non existent training unless you could knowledgebase pages written by people who left the company years ago, no written process for many things. Departments being blamed for poor work of others despite only recently taking on their tasks. The list goes on and on. Long-term staff are getting made redundant so they can further bloat the CXX team things only ever get worse at Glide.

Pros

Some fantastic people, and appears to be some good culture in some teams.

Cons

There are far too many Cons for me to list here, however this is the worst company I have ever worked for in my entire career. Just woefully incompetent, huge gaps in training for staff, often bad leadership (if any leadership at all) Processes are non existent, or don't work at all - yet the company buries its head in the sand and refuses to make improvements. The standard of service given to the customers is terrible, i would never use this company for my business. Operational failures are constant, and contribute to huge customer dissatisfaction. Internally people/teams can be extremely unhelpful, if they even reply to you or answer the call which is rare. I would be so embarrassed and ashamed if i was the CEO of this company.

Pros

Free fruit and nice members on other team.

Cons

The management are in glide business. As soon as the manager found out I was Muslim I was victimised by him and envouo was given to certain colleagues and management to continue. A bullying culture even though they were told to stop it still continued with the backup of certain individuals and managers There was constant demeaning comments not only about religion but also about gender dyslexia, and age then they expect you to meet a target without support and kick you out . Double standards through and through. putting it through to tribunal to expose the ignorance and complete unprofessional behaviour would have been the right thing to do.
