Pros

Teammates are wonderful, kind, helpful people.

Cons

Comp has changed every 6 months for a couple years, including quota increase. Current quota up to over 50% of last fiscal year, when most reps did not hit quota last FY. Comp decrease by 25%. AWFUL! Completely de motivating and insulting...and also not attainable. Middle management is doing their best to support their teams but are constantly bogged down w/ internal meetings making them pretty unavailable for important selling support. Pricing has increased to be not competitive and the product/offering is not robust enough for our high value prospects - making quota that much harder to attain. The overall culture is one of high stress, hurried frenzied direction changes weekly, favoritism, and inexperienced leadership. But most importantly, recent comp structure changes clearly let us all know that Go1 does not value their sales org and is squeezing them to make the org more profitable. It saddens me to say this, but Go1 is no longer a great place to work....Whoever set our revenue targets is 100% delusional as Go1 doesn't have the product, marketing, lead gen or market share to support such lofty goals. Oh, and the SDR team...what SDR team?! Most of them have been let go. Again, so sad to see a very necessary part of the sales org be decimated and leaving the AEs with little to know support.

Enjoyed stakeholder relationships, but not much else.

Pros

Initially, I was very excited to join this start-up and contribute to and work with a global team. Benefits were decent, but not super competitively priced, at least for health insurance.

Cons

Digging into day-tod-day work painted a story, however, of unsupported leadership, lack of meaningful communication from the corporate level (even to VPs), and very high-performance expectations without real guidance, coaching, or investment into people to increase skillsets and add to their toolboxes. Onboarding initially was decent, however support waned as time moved forward. Focus was largely on outcomes, rather than on root causes, so problems persisted even after employees were laid off (more than 3 layoffs in 2 years). Processes and commissions structures were changed abruptly with little to no ramp and zero support for adjusting to new requirements; this affected morale across the board, not only for those in commission-based roles.

Pros

- Good product, big industry. - Good culture and people but a lot of the good ones have left. - Good office location. - Good benefits

Cons

- Consistent layoffs and always worrying about your job. - The company raised quotas by 300% after the team was consistently hitting quota, Then the team hit at about 33% consistently. - The leaders either get let go or move to a different company before they reach the 1 year mark. Not a trait of a successful company. - They laid off a ton of passionate, hard working people who had been at the company for a long time because they were "milking it." No, they just had 0 motivation due to a litany of errors by C-level. They were looking to get a new regime across all of Go1. - 0 interest in internal promotion. The company has way too many other issues that this is the least of anyone's concerns. - The company has completely stopped any additional spend for any events/trips/parties which has killed the culture. We used to have a lot of fun but not anymore.
