Pros

Great People Good benefits product is good too.

Cons

No stability. The company's vision has changed and somewhere along the way they lost their culture and values.n They don't seem to value their employees. They overwork and under pay their employees. People are leaving because they dont feel appreciated. Only if management would listen to their people, pay them more and make them feel valued they'd stay. After the merger things are even more uncertain and its chaos. Join if you can put up with all that otherwise run far away.

Hey there, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Glassdoor community! I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way and have come to these conclusions. I assure you that our team is the most important priority we have. So much so that all of our leaders are trained in servant leadership. We believe that it is a supported, fulfilled, engaged team that does the best work of their lives and in so doing, produces the best products and gives the best service to our customers. Your review shows that you are a current employee - I would highly encourage you to reach out to me directly via Slack, or anonymously if you prefer via our engagement platform. Also please know there are open-door policies across the board - our CEO meets regularly with team members to understand their experience and concerns, and our head of people encourages team members to book themselves directly into her calendar. However if direct conversations aren't your thing we have the anonymous question app that goes directly to the CEO. Thank you for taking the time to share, I look forward to working with you to further improve your experience!

Thank God for SiteDocs

Pros

The biggest pro, is SiteDocs. They are crushing their goals and consistently outperform GoCanvas and DeviceMagic. As long as they continue to crush, it will make this company valuable.

Cons

An extremely slow innovation culture and an outdated tech stack that is uninspiring to work on, and doesn't help further our careers in a red hot employment market.

Hey there, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with the Glassdoor community. Firstly, thank you for your contributions! With a tenure of over 4 years in our engineering team, you most certainly have had your fingerprints on web forms, workhub, and toolkits, some of our big projects in the last few years. You really hit on something important here; when we are evaluating companies as a part of our M&A strategy, we look at companies that are complementary to us. Each of the companies has significant strengths and together we are a more robust organization. If you have found principles in your work with the SiteDocs team that are valuable and you would like to implement in your team, I encourage you to have that discussion with your team lead. We love feedback, (and have many ways to give it directly and anonymously) and in an 'always-learning' culture like ours, opportunities for growth are always appreciated. Thanks again for your contributions and sharing your thoughts.

Cons

1. Lack of (adequate) leadership in Sales 2. Lack of accountability when someone makes a (huge) mistake (or really just being incredibly sloppy) 3. Lack of general knowledge of how an office works from certain leaders who should understand this 4. Receiving inadequate advice/responses from leadership in answering company wide survey questions (especially when I used them as a last resort) 5. Lack of career development plans for employees 6. Inadequate living wages 7. Inadequate internal processes for basic things like writing an SOW 8. Inadequate responses from leadership in developing internal processes

Hey there, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Glassdoor community! Firstly, thank you for your contributions! 3-4 years tenure tells me you knew the team when we were full time in the office, weathered the pandemic with us and contributed much in your time at GoCanvas, I'm sorry to hear that your expectations weren't met by our sales team. Innovation, both in our platform, and internally with processes and best practices is a core value of ours, and as such you are right, there are continuous changes to our internal processes. I empathize that this is perhaps more prevalent in the sales team and it can be frustrating for those who don't enjoy a fast-paced, continually iterative environment. I am glad you enjoyed the team! We have the most incredible people working at GoCanvas and are very lucky in that respect. Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback with the Glassdoor community and all the best in your future endeavors.
