Pros

Fair pay, good mission to help people, some great folks on the team. Beautiful office in downtown SD. Cares a lot about things like DEI, keeping employees engaged, etc.

Cons

Product is completely stagnant. More than 60% of the sales team is missing their number. Less than 10 last year hit annual. If youre a happy AE, you have either been here forever or youre a mid-market AE getting fed inbound. The quotas are high, the territories are all over the place. The product isnt working for current customers and impossible to sell in the upper markets. Company is begging us to write good reviews to cover up the bad ones as of late.

Pros

Working on a product that genuinely helps people is incredibly motivating, and that shared mission really comes through in the culture. People here care about what they’re building, which makes it easier to push through challenges and ship meaningful work. The culture is fun and positive, and there are a lot of great people with different interests to connect with. It also feels like the company is very focused right now, with teams aligned and making real progress each quarter. As an engineer, I feel like my input matters and that I have strong ownership over what I work on. There’s a clear openness to innovation, especially around AI and new tools, and not much red tape, which makes it easy to collaborate and move quickly across teams.

Cons

Because the company moves quickly and stays focused on what matters most, priorities can shift and projects may get reprioritized. It helps to be adaptable and comfortable refocusing your work as priorities evolve.

Pros

I've been here for awhile and there have been a lot of changes. I've personally felt like I was given an opportunity for whenever I asked for it and have felt like my feedback was actioned on. There have been changes in leadership that have changed the pace of how this company moves and operates but its a challenge that I think are just part of growing pains. The people that surround me are also good people. Overall, I think getting to work in a place that recognizes my effort, allows me to expand my own knowledge and pushes me to grow as well is a good place to be-- and not to mention, you also get to work on a product that could impact someone's life for good (which is much better of a purpose than working at other companies that sell products).

Cons

Constant shift in priorities. The timelines proposed by leadership are sometimes too aggressive, and the ideas are sometimes disagreeable -- but you may end up having to follow anyways.
