Pros

Low pressure, no micro-management. You were trusted to get your work done and you were treated like an adult.

Cons

Lack of company direction. Lots of rhetoric, very little follow through. Lots of promises were made before and after hire, none of which came to fruition. Was forced to relocate even though remote work was possible. Offered training was never provided.

Thank you for your review. Greenway Health has a very thorough and intentional hiring process. Because of this, our managers feel comfortable giving their team members the autonomy to complete the work they were hired to do. We have an open door policy and encourage each employee to share any concerns they may have with either their manager or other company leaders. Our employees are, after all, our greatest asset. Ultimately, Greenway Health is held accountable by our customers to remain successful long term, which drives any difficult business decisions that must be made. We do not make such decisions lightly as we value each and every member of our term that contributes to our success. We wish you the very best in your future professional endeavors. Thank you for both your feedback and your contributions.

Pros

A perfect first job with the only qualification required is passing an IQ/Personality test. The pay is nothing to brag about but beats slinging burgers in fast food. Two of the software products sold and supported are top notch, Intergy and Success. At one time, the pride of representing quality products was reflected in employee attitudes. Prior to Vista Equity purchasing our companies, we were valued as employees. The pros are that the few remaining staff with more than a few years tenure can reflect on the good times.

Cons

Vista got scammed to the tune of $644m into thinking that Primesuite was a solid, state of the art product and put all their resources into that bucket while ignoring the stable products. Customers have left in legions, hundreds of employees have been fired or haven't found other jobs yet. Moral is beyond low and Vista has too much pride to admit it overpaid for a disaster of a software and move on. Customers hate it, support can't keep it running and developers laugh at the challenge to make it work without a complete re-write. Meanwhile, talented staff are fired, replaced by unskilled lower paid kids and sales people are churned every quarter for not being able to sell. It's a vicious cycle that has no end and employees are simply easily replaced commodities, evidenced by constant churning. The combination of disgruntled employees, fueled by angry customers and lack of sales based on inexperienced staff and bad market reputation is fueling this death spiral.

Thanks for your review. Greenway Health's in-depth recruiting process looks at the complete profile of an applicant - including experience, education and overall fit with our company values. We feel that our most valuable asset continues to be our employees - we work hard to provide them with all the tools and training they need in order to be successful in their job and serve our customers with world class support. Our product map is developed by our leadership team, after careful thought and consideration. We look at customer needs and recommendations, along with the overall market forecast to determine go-forward solutions and software features. We spend considerable effort analyzing our market reputation, including NPS scores, KLAS scores and employee surveys, and work to provide a positive experience for both customers and employees. Greenway Health has an open door policy, which means that you are always invited to reach out to your manager or other leaders in the company if you have any questions, comments, concerns or ideas to help us in our mission to improve healthcare. Pros

There were really very few. Some nice people worked there, but as far as I can tell, they moved on and with good reason.

Cons

This was one of the worst places I worked. I came in with rose-tinted glasses, and was led to believe it was going to be great. I came in when they were closing offices and literally replacing someone's job. That person had to train me to get their severance package. Upper leadership has NEVER cared about the human aspect of this business. Benefits were terrible. Unlimited PTO was a myth, and I was denied time off for a genuinely important event. Pay was a farce. I was literally told I was going to be laid off because I was the highest paid on my team, and I was barely making it.
