Pros

Great people to work with, good training program, lots of tax knowledge among the tax pros, plenty of opportunity to gain as much tax experience as you like, flexible work hours, good balance of work/family life.

Cons

Not much room for advancement, relatively low pay, hard to plan here for long term employment. I can see where newcomers get frustrated with getting tax experience the first year.

Pros

The office feels like a family. With only a handful of tax pros and a receptionist, we had an intimate work culture. I loved all the events we had to get the public's attention.

Cons

It was pretty hectic and people were always complaining that our prices were misleading. It made me feel wrong for working there.
