Pros

Although it’s seasonal the Franchise cares about their staff and is a great learning opportunity. I previously was a tax preparer which is also a great experience. You have the ability to set your hours.great for college at students or anyone who wants a little extra money.

Cons

There are no downsides in my opinion

Pros

- Gained experience doing Point Of Sale - Short commute - Getting to know clients

Cons

- I was told not to tell anyone asking about pricing about our exact pricing - Low pay - No benefits - Being expected to accommodate clients who demanded same day appointments/walk-ins - Being expected to do cold calling while handling clients in person and incoming calls at the same time - I was not fully trained in person on how to locate specific forms in the system which led to me being shamed by a Tax Pro who - System for cold calling was not updated regularly to reflect which clients came back to file
