Pros

H&R Block is very flexible... They understand the importance of family but at the same time remember business come 1st with them.

Cons

Very demanding work environment and number oriented to meet goals for stock holders. No excuses are ever accepted about why goals aren't met. If you can't take being micro-managed, this company is not for you.

Pros

As with all large companies and cultures there may be a huge difference in that the company stands for and strives to achieve and the private agendas of some of the leadership at the ground level. For my part I have been privileged to work with and for some of the finest people I have ever met not to mention all our wonderful clients.

Cons

There have been cutbacks, as all fiscally responsible companies are doing in this day of economic downturn but I'm fully behind the concept. We all need to pull together to get through this. Whining and moaning and groaning will not change things. Keeping positive and continuing the course will get us there.
