It was okay

Pros

It was my first real job so getting accustomed to clocking in, working in an office, having a manager and co-workers was a cool experience. Management and co-workers made it worthwhile.

Cons

There was a lot more boring downtime in the office than I expected during tax season. I was new so I didn't have the clientele that the other tax preparers had. So often times, I was sitting at my desk all day twiddling my thumbs or acting as a receptionist when the designated one was not there. Low pay on top of cut hours was not cool either.

Pros

It's tax work. Company promotes from within to eager and motivated individuals. Management is very understanding and hard working. Can always get help if needed. They have a good system of getting clients to come back.

Cons

Getting fulltime hours for yourself is hard. Compensation is minimum wage. Horrible.
