Pros

you can do your taxes and family members for free, training provided including courses to upgrade your knowledge. it's seasonal!

Cons

it's seasonal so you work hard for four months then nothing! the pay isn't very good for the responsiblities you have to the company and its clients.

Pros

If you work as a Client Service Professional, you can take the tax course in the fall for $20 which is a great resume builder

Cons

Very little pay, but that is to be expected for job. Tax Pro's will try to take advantage of your kindness and boss you around. CSP are there for the client and not the tax pros. Also, tax pro's are kind of lazy for only having to work 4 months of the year. They will act as if every client is theirs in the beginning, but as tax season progresses, they will all hide when walk-ins without appointments come in.
